Somerset Ice Cider
From Julian Temperley's great Burrow Hill Farm in Somerset - makers of cider and cider brandy - comes this very special product.
Ice Cider is made by freezing freshly pressed apple juice, then - when it has separated into 'white' ice and frozen apple juioce - removing the ice. The remaining juice is naturally stronger with more intense flavours. The juice is then fermented creating a sweet, rich Ice Cider with a dry finish. Can be drunk over ice as a dessert wine or used in a cocktail.
