Day Of The Mini Sharphams

Sharpham - the famous dairy on the banks of the Dart below Totnes (see below) - have gradually been increasing the number of their cheeses that are available in beautiful smaller versions. So now, as well as being able to buy the celebrated Sharpham Brie as a 300g square (which has long been the case) you can also get cream-enriched Elmhirst in the same size.

The mini Sharpham Rustics (about 500g) are particularly lovely and come either plain or flavoured with garlic and chives. And finally, a more recent addition to the family, Cremet, made with cream and goats' milk (pink label above), now comes as a 250g round.

I've always found these small-sized cheeses very attractive, so I'm pleased that more of Sharpham's range can now be had in that form.

Incidentally, after many years being led by Mark Sharman - a great supporter of ours since the beginning - the dairy is now being run by the capable and dynamic Greg Parsons. We wish Mark a happy post-Sharpham life, and Greg and his team every success!
