Well, if you can't be romantic at a wedding it's a 'poor do' as my lovely Dad would have said.
So here we are with a deep red-waxed Godminster cheddar on top of three other cheeses. Next one down is Sharpham's ultra-luxurious Elmhirst. Blue cheese fans will enjoy Robin Congdon's Harbourne Blue,* and the base is a gorgeous traditional English cheese: everyone will love Duckett's Caerphilly.
At 7kg, this would suit 70 people - or thereabouts. As ever - if you like the look of this but it's not quite right ... get in touch. We're doing 'bespoke' cakes all the time ...

In this one we cut the Caerphilly down to half it's height, giving a 5kf cake for, say 50 people.

Harbourne Blue is a goats' milk cheese. We can also do this cake with the ewes' milk Beenleigh Blue. It's the same colour and the same dimensions as Harbourne Blue (though might be a little bit lighter). Both blues are fabulous ... the choice is yours.
