There always seem to be new cheeses to discover: a new one to me is this simply wonderful cream cheese. Neet Foods (they're based near Bude, beside the River Neet) make these delicious cream cheese balls. This is real fresh cheese - made within 24 hrs of milking. About the size of a marble, they're presented in sunflower oil with fresh garlic, herbs and red peppercorns. If you're thinking they can't taste as good as they look, well, you'll just have to trust me: they really really do! See also the goats' milk version.
Available in a 200g jar as shown or as a 1kg catering pack (plastic tub).
