Ewe & Buffalo
People who know a lot more about cheese than I do tell me that at one time - until the sixteenth century - we ate mainly sheeps' milk cheese in this country. Cows' cheese has, of course, long been in the ascendancy, but maybe things are on the turn? Anyway - here are some lovely ewes' milk cheeses - and, just for variety, Buffalo milk cheeses too.
