As I write (July 07) this is pretty much a brand new cheese. Dave Johnson from Crediton has been going from strength to strength with his range of goats cheese. Norsworthy, the original, was joined later by Gunstone and the flavoured Posbury. At one time Dave's cheese was made elsewhere, by a mysterious Dutch Lady, but last year he built a dairy of his own, and at that time told me about his ambition to add a blue goats cheese.
And here it is: Nanny Bloo is only the second one we've listed (the other being Robin Congdon's Harbourne Blue). It's a creamy blue cheese which - Dave guarantees - will leave 'a tingle on your tongue'.
