Not all weddings are huge affairs, but there's no reason why a striking cheese cake can't be made for even a small gathering. Here's one which, at about 3.7kg, one suit 35-40.
The base here is Robin Congdon's Devon Blue, then there's three goats cheeses above. The first is a firm-textured one from Dorset: Woolsery. White Nancy - soft, creamy - makes a great contrast, and the whole thing is topped off with Graham Townsend's Vulscombe. Speak to Graham about his cheese and he's bound to tell you he could sell all the cheese he makes several times over. Once you've tasted it you'll know why!
