Gunstone

A semi-hard cheese with a light, buttery texture and a delicate goat flavour which increases with maturity. Made by a big pal of the Cheese Shed - Dave Johnson in Crediton, Devon (Norsworthy and the paprika-flavoured Posbury are also his).

What's that? Hot news just streaming off the teleprinter (June 2006): Gunstone has been awarded a coveted Bronze at the 2006 World Cheese Awards!   And reader: take a moment to pause and marvel at that fabulous colour.  I insist.
