A ewes' milk cheese made in the cheddar style, and a very striking one thing it is too. Fleece is an almost translucent, pearly white, with a wonderfully silky smooth texture. There's nothing else quite like it.
Tastes very good: Fleece, which won a Silver Medal at the 2007 World Cheese Awards, has definitely earned its place in the select band that is our Somerset Selection!
